Frequently asked questions

Where can international students find accommodation in the Baltics?

Compare small-home rental listings in Vilnius, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn, Tartu. The city pages show current asking rents and official university links; check with each advertiser whether students are accepted.

What does student-budget mean?

For each city we use clean apartment rents to calculate the 60th percentile, rounded down to the nearest €10. We then show clean room or studio listings where recorded, or apartments and lofts with at most one recorded bedroom or an explicit single room, priced at or below that cap. Price statistics are shown only when supported by at least 100 listings.

Are these university dormitories or reserved student homes?

No. These are existing private rental listings from local portals and agencies, selected by size and asking rent. Student acceptance, occupancy, availability, lease length and utility payments must be confirmed with the advertiser. Contact university housing offices through their official websites for university accommodation.

How should I arrange my rental before arrival?

Verify the property and the landlord or authorised agency, arrange a viewing, read a written lease in a language you understand and keep payment receipts. Confirm your campus location and current residence requirements with official sources.
